Closest to Boardwalk at Millenia is Windingwalk Park, which allows you to walk there without need of other transportation. Next up is Sunset View Park, still within a bit of a longer walking distance, so you can get in a bit of a walk on the way there and back, but which features a comprehensive sports complex. Past both of these is a destination for watching great athletes train in person, at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, which if you or your children are a member of one of the many local teams in the area, you may experience as a training camp home for your sport. Other parks include All Seasons Park, Santa Venetia Park, Cottonwood Park, and finally Chula Vista Community Park.
